ABOUT US
Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a charitable contribution to underprivileged children in low-income households - primarily those not already associated with a charity. We help in the form of items for holidays, basic necessities for school, meals, etc. All contributions will be supplied from donations and volunteers, in an effort to ensure that no child slips under the radar in our local community.
Meet The Team
Joey Thoms
Founder, President, Board Member
Hello! My name is Joey. I live in a small town in North Carolina. I live with my husband, daughter, and our 2 pups. We moved to NC when our jobs let us go permanently remote during Covid. Once that happened, we sold our home and got as close to the beach as possible. I've loved every minute of it thus far!

Bri Crimmel
Chapter Leader - Pennsylvania

Hi, I’m Brianna (Bri) Crimmel—a CPA by trade who’s always been drawn to the power of possibility. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping ideas grow, especially the ones that start small, seem unconventional, or come from voices that aren’t always heard. I believe deeply in the value of fresh perspectives and bold thinking, which is why I’m proud to lead the Pennsylvania chapter of Kids Under the Radar and its mission to elevate young changemakers.
Outside of work, I live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with my husband, our three incredible children, and three spirited Siberian Huskies who keep life lively and full of adventure. Our home is a whirlwind of energy, creativity, and laughter—and it’s where I’m constantly reminded of the importance of nurturing curiosity and resilience in the next generation.
Whether I’m collaborating on strategy, mentoring emerging leaders, or cheering on my kids from the sidelines, I’m driven by a belief that the future belongs to those who dare to think differently. Kids Under the Radar is a place where that belief comes to life, and I’m honored to be part of it.

Become A Volunteer
Volunteering can vary depending on need. Ultimately though, you can choose what you'd do to help the charity. This may include helping with donation bins in your local area, hanging flyers, or posting in social media groups.
